2de BAB BIERFESTIVAL BRUGGE in De Halletoren

Prachtig nieuws voor de liefhebber van het betere Belgische bier. Op zaterdag 15 en zondag 16 november 2008 organiseren De Brugse Autonome Bierproevers in samenwerking met het Brugse stadsbestuur de tweede editie van hun bierfestival.

Zo maar eventjes 50 brouwerijen en bierfirma’s (dit zijn firma’s met een eigen bier maken  maar niet over een eigen brouwerij beschikken) zullen u het beste presenteren dat op de Belgische biermarkt te verkrijgen is.

Dit jaar gaat het festival door in het volledige complex van de Halletoren !!

Naast 5 Trappistenbrouwerijen en enkele artisanale geuzestekers en –brouwerijen, ontmoet u de fine-fleur uit Belgisch bierlandschap.

Naast het proeven zelf is er heel wat boeiende randanimatie voorzien:

 - Cuisine Culinair met 8 topchefs (4 per dag) die gastronomisch koken met bier. (Dit in combinatie met de 'WEEK VAN DE SMAAK')

 - Buitenterras op het binnenplein van het Belfort (Uniek!)

 - Kinderanimatiehoek

Je koopt een speciaal ontworpen proefglas van € 3 en tegen jetons van € 1.25 kunnen alle voorhanden bieren ( meer dan 180 !) gedegusteerd worden. Meestal is de brouwer aanwezig om uw vragen of bemerkingen te beantwoorden.

Proeven kun je alleen, of nog beter met enkele vrienden samen waarbij een wisseling van ideeën over de verschillende bieren zeker bijdraagt tot het plezant en bewust  nuttigen van deze verschillende lekkernijen.

Niet te missen : Historische zalen van het Halletorencomplex op de Markt te Brugge telkens vanaf 12 uur. Op zaterdag tot 22 uur en op zondag tot 21 uur.

BAB's 2nd. BEER FESTIVAL BRUGES

Great news for the Belgian Beer Lover.
On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2008, The Bruges Autonomous Beer Tasters will organize, in co-operation with the municipality of Bruges,  the second Bruges Beer Festival.

50 breweries and beer firms will present their beers.

This year, the festival will take place at the complete halls complex of the Belfry !!

Apart from 5 Trappist breweries and some artisanal Gueuze blenders and brewers, you will encounter the best from Belgian's Beer landscape.

At the entrance, one can buy a tasting glass (15cl) at € 3.00 and tokens at € 1.25 each.
This will give the chance to choose from more than 180 different beers.
Mostly, the brewer will be present at his stand, so perfect to ask questions and remarks.
The objective is to take the glass with you during the visit to the festival.  At every stand, one can give their glass, which will be cleaned and filled with the desired beer. One beer = one token. The glass can be taken home as a souvenir.

Apart from beer tasting, different side activities are organized:

 - Cuisine Culinair with 8 topchefs (4 per day) who will cook gastronomic with beer (This in combination with the "Week of the Taste")

 - Outer terrace at the inner court of the Belfry (unique!)

Not to miss : Historic Rooms of the Belfry complex on the market at Bruges.
Every day from 12.00.
Saturday till 22.00 - Sunday till 21.00.
